That was a fun week!
It kicked off last Sunday with a run on The Thames with the New York Times best-selling author Jake Knapp (check the video below), followed the next day by attending his London book launch of Make Time, and then ending last week with a number of new business calls.
Day by day, I try and remember a few key things:
  1. Don’t settle for mediocre - aim for awesome
  2. There’s always something to do - create, follow-up, or to share
  3. Focus on the most important tasks first (Jake’s front-burner back-burner technique is great for this!)
The calls I made last week weren’t all for new business. A number of people have reached out wanting to hear more, share advice and just chat. I’ve been hugely appreciative of that because even one conversation can lead to a great idea.
Thanks for reading,
-Ross
