Inspiration helps perspiration 💦 #119

I had a day-off today, which in my case is pretty rare. With an Ikea cabinet waiting in a brown cardboard box, ready to be assembled, I took my borrowed electric drill and set to work.
To set the context, I’ve never been good at do-it-yourself, often shying away from it or trying to get someone else to do it!
However, I’ve been inspired recently to start tackling some of the harder stuff at home. While I appreciate the skill of a specialist, there are some things I can (and really should do myself). Looking at Facebook Marketplace, tools are pretty affordable and the method is only a Google away.
Two hours later, I’m inspecting my newly hung bathroom cabinet. Spirit level says it’s up correctly and there’s absolutely no give in it. I’ve successfully gotten over my fear - I can do DIY! Now, I just want to get all the tools and do the house up like in the film The Notebook.
