I’m sharing this, but I don’t necessarily agree with it. Until Velofix takes over the planet, cyclists still need workshops. I’d accept retail has gone online and will continue to and that’s why some shops are investing time in curating experiences, running events and doing other things that add to customers experience of cycling while making money from it.
“Use us or lose us” feels like what our local butcher and greengrocer have said. They’re out of business now, by the way. It’s a losing strategy.
